 A POTENT TOOL FOR YOU! To all my Dear Sisters, (Note: this message is geared towards women, but can be applied to all men as well!) I write you today with an offering for energetic and sexual freedom. My work in the most recent months has brought me to the extreme awareness of the powerful presence of energetic cords, in specific, sexual cords. When we make love or have sex with another, especially a man who penetrates us, we create a powerful bond, an energetic cord. These cords remain with us for up to 7 years after ceasing intercourse with this person, and sometimes longer. Living our lives with energetic cords to another can be wonderful when we are walking in bonded path with that person, but if our cycle with a lover is complete, having a cord remaining can be draining us of our energy, and impacting our thoughts and emotions without even knowing it. We can be feeling feelings and thinking thoughts that aren't ours, taking on others' baggage and bad luck, and be impacted in a variety of other ways. These cords are subtle energies, but can have a very powerful effect on the overall clarity in our autonomy and lives. Especially as women, who operate emotionally, feel deeply, and are attuned and receptive to the subtle frequencies, it is important to be aware of these cords and connections. It is my understanding that sex is one of the most powerful and sacred forms of magic and connection, and therefore important to understand the bonds we create and the affects of these energetic connections. As we awaken more into our sexual and spiritual empowerment, the natural tendency is to become more discerning of who we allow into our temples, and who we chose to create this alchemy with. But naturally, we all have walked a long road of experimentation and learning to get to the stage of sexual empowerment and self respect. So what of all those cords we created in the past that may not be serving us any more? How do we clear them? The common "ritual" for this is referred to as cord cutting. We hear many people say they have done cord cutting ceremonies for past lovers, to sever the bonds made. In my experience, cord cutting is an inaccurate and inefficient way to shift this bond. If you visualize the cord between yourself and a lover as a plant, or vine, full of life and symbiosis, what happens when you cut it? It withers and dies. This is a violent and abrupt action that leaves a severed and wilting, rotting half of a cord- still firmly planted in you, but with nothing connected to the other end to close the circuit. This creates a gaping ENERGETIC LEAK, which leaves you open to other energies getting in and create a whole new set of problems. The same goes for the other half or the cord planted in your ex-lover. I have found a much more gentle, efficient, and clear way to shift these cords. It is a CORD TRANSPLANTING ritual. Again, visualizing the cords as plants, or vines, and taking them out from the root, still fully alive and in tact, to be transplanted back to the other. If you are able to do this together as a form of closure with a lover, wonderful. it is as simple as agreeing together and visualizing yourselves uprooting these cords from your sacral and heart chakras, and planting them back into the sacral and heart chakra of the other. (see following mediation for details). For many of us, this may not be possible, as we are no longer in contact with those past lovers. So i have channeled a mediation to transplant these cords to the garden of our higher selves, where unconditional love is in overflowing abundance. I would like to offer you the invitation and the tools to take the time to push the energetic "reset" button on your sacral energy and your sexuality, and remove all cords that you no longer wish to carry!! Be aware that choosing to do this ritual does not mean removing the memory, honor, or experience of this past partner from your life. You will not lose anything you wish to keep, and this will not change any heart connection or friendship. In my experience, if anything, it had made the connections more clear, and stronger, because the old energies of sexual connection and attachment are shifted. This ritual simply brings energetic autonomy and the ability to move forward in our sexual experiences with clarity and wholeness. ***Note: Women, you may also use the powerful magic of your menstruation cycles to clear residual energies in your womb from cords of intimate experiences. Simply set the intention at the start of your moon to use the cycle and the blood to clear the physical and energetic remnants of transplanted cords or past lovers from your temple. Be sure to offer your blood to the earth so it may be received and transmuted. **Note: Men, you may do this mediation as well, just use your sacral chakra and root chakra as the locations for the roots of the cords. Generally women carry these cords deeper and longer than men, but it is beneficial and powerful to shift this for yourself as well. Often time the cords are only found in the heart for men. May this technique bring you energetic and physical freedom from all energies that are not yours and do not serve your highest empowerment in spiritual sexuality. CORD TRANSPLANTING MEDITATION: Find a comfortable position, either seated or laying down flat on your back. Take a few minutes to become fully relaxed in your entire body. Tune in with your breath, with the energy of the earth supporting you. With each breath, feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed, more peaceful, more present. Now start to focus your breath and your attention on you sacral chakra, and your womb. Visualize yourself entering inside your womb cave. Feel it's warmth, its darkness, and it safety. See the walls of your womb as beds of dark, rich soil. In this soil, you start to see the cords of your past lovers as vines. They are rooted into the walls of your womb, and extend outward beyond your body and energetic body, connecting all the way to your ex-lover. You may see one cord, or many. Notice the color or energy each of these cords possess. Feel their vibration and presence within you. Honor and acknowledge the cords and the lovers they are connected to, thanking them for the teachings and experiences. Allow yourself to experience and feel any emotion that may arise as you witness and feel these cords. Spend a few minutes here with these cords. Now extend your consciousness back up to your heart. Take a breath here, then expand even further, out the top of your crown and out of your body. Visualize yourself rising up above the earth, through the galaxy, and into the heavenly realms. Keep rising higher and higher until you reach the plane of Unconditional Love. This is the 7th plane, where our higher selves reside. It is filled with a vibrant light opalescent energy. In this place, visualize your higher self. Let it take any form that resonates with you. Visualize your higher self walking through a vibrant, abundant garden. This is your heart garden of unconditional love. It is filled with plants, flowers, water, animals, and anything else you wish to put in it. In this garden are many empty beds, filled with rich and fertile soil, waiting for new plants to be planted. Spend some time here, getting to know your heart garden, and enjoying its abundance and beauty. Once you see this clearly in your mind's eye, return your consciousness back to your body, and back down into your womb (your sacral chakra). Now it is as simple as taking any chords you no longer wish to be in your womb temple, and transplanting them into these empty garden beds in your heart garden. Visualize yourself once more inside your womb. Again, tune in to the cords, or vines, planted in the soil of your womb garden. With great care and gentleness, dig into the soil of your womb walls, and dig up the roots of these cords. You may do one at a time, or gather many at once. Once you have the roots in your palms, take a moment to send gratitude, honor, and love to the lovers these cords are connected to. Thank them for the experiences and exchanges. With the cord(s) in your hands, return your consciousness all the way back up to your heart garden in the plane of unconditional love. Gently plant the roots of these cords into the fresh and fertile soil of the empty beds. Tuck them in with fresh water and a prayer for nurturance and support. when you have finished transplanting all the cords, take a bit of the fertile soil from your heart garden, bring it back down to your womb (sacral Chakra), and fill in the empty spaces of your womb garden with this soil, so all gaps may be sealed an filled. Breathe deep into your womb and feel the sensation of wholeness and freedom. Relish in your energetic and physical autonomy and completion. Rest in the knowing that these cords of your past lovers are fully nurtured and provided for by the abundant source of unconditional love and your higher self, without draining your energy in the physical. Know you may visit these cords (vines) in your heart garden at any time and give them water, energy, and attention, from a place of unconditional love and overflowing, abundant energy.  Always, the most extreme and challenging situations in our lives prove to be the deepest blessings and teachings. It is easy to be in a state of unconditional love and compassion when those energies are reflected around us. But when we are confronted with aggression, fear, hatred, misunderstanding, and betrayal from other people or energies around us, this is the real test and fortification of our love. Can we stay centered in our truth and hold a deep prayer for the healing of the other, instead of succumbing to the illusion of the pain and fear and feeding it? The only reason these energies of the dark show up in our lives is to reflect the places that are misaligned in ourselves, so that we may bring more light, more love. They come to us because they are suffering, and subconsciously they know our light can set them free. In inviting real Christ consciousness into our lives and the into collective, I chose to turn the other cheek to those who attack me. I let my false ego rest and humble myself into trust and compassion for the suffering. I find myself flattered and honored to be receiving such a deep challenge and wonderful opportunity to strengthen the Christ light within me, and show up that much brighter and stronger as an example for others. I know that my work impacts the collective, because we are one. With this attitude, there is a conscious lucidity of the lessons and blessings that even the most difficult tests are bringing me. In the light of this, all I can be left with is GRATITUDE. And a deeper, more resounding TRUST in the path and the Divine. So to my enemies, to those who hurt me, who betray me, who attack me: I say THANK YOU, so much, for activating my light and forging my strength in the flames of disillusion. I am awake, Lucid in this initiation, and willing to show up for the process, for the benefit of all beings everywhere. Surrendering to the very real sensation of Gravity... Feeling the overwhelming power and intimidation of pursing a dream that is bigger than me... Experiencing the struggle of so many artists and musicians: pouring every particle of the self into the realization of the vision, into living the passion. And so now I come to the point where I am staring down the very long road ahead of me, having taken the first couple steps, and realizing I've got a long way to go...and I need to pace myself... Like a baby in the womb...this album's not gonna come until it is ready...And this mama is learning to be patient in every way... Honoring the Equinox... Once more the tides turn... Today I begin this new season with a 7 day master plant dieta with my teacher and ally: Tobacco. My intention is to restore full balance and right relationship with this and all plant and animal allies, for my self and my ancestors. And to clear deeply all obstacles, while invoking solid and firm protection and foundation for my path. From my center, in this center point, I invoke BALANCE... I honor the light and the dark as equals, lovers, allies. I embrace the dark. The challenges, the pain, the suffering. I welcome the initiations, and step through the portals. Equally I embrace the light. The joys, the pleasure, the rewards... I Welcome the breakthroughs, and am blasted wide open. BLESSED EQUINOX BELOVEDS. MAY YOU FIND BALANCE THIS DAY. .. Channeling, or summoning what lays dormant ...  I trust in the divine flow. I may not see the beginning or the end, but I trust just the same. I know I am fully provided for. Today is my wedding day... I am simultaneously integrating how to be more vulnerable, open, allowing and receptive: and how to set boundaries, be assertive, and master protection... Sacred union of the masculine and feminine. Balancing. My masculine honors, cares for, protects, and provides for my feminine. My feminine honors, allows, nurtures and trusts my masculine. I am my TRUEST beloved.  I am being tested on how well I can release my attachments and need for control to the most extreme limits right now, in every aspect of my life. The overwhelming pain and disappointment I feel in my heart is such an opportunity to surrender. It is something sacred. The sacred can be defined as something that you cannot gain, only receive. Meaning you cannot make it be there when it's not, and you cannot make it go away when it is. Love is the essence of sacred. And just as sacred is Heartbreak: Love unbound by an object. The moment when you realize everything you thought was so perfect and what you wanted is gone, is not what it seemed: That is Heartbreak. That is the pure power of the human experience. That is sacred...  I feel very called to share a deep and extremely crucial integration of understanding that has resulted in a deep change in my life. This is a vulnerable and humbling expression of my process on my path to deeper truth and integrity. As many of you may know, I have been a "smoker" of tobacco on and off for many years. Due to my dedication to self mastery, reflections from the ones I love, and the wisdom of the grandmother vine medicine, I am proud to say I have come into a place of right relation with the Tobacco plant spirit. In my journeys to the deep levels of my subconscious self, I have discovered that I have been holding a deep guilt, and fear of death around smoking. Addiction to nicotine and alcohol have run through my ancestry for generations, taking the lives of many of my relatives... Running all the way down to this current generation, manifesting in my behavior and the habits and behavior of my siblings. I have been given the clear message that this current generation is clearing the karma of our ancestors and history that has come before us, so we may move into the new paradigm free of any karmic burdens or suffering. Knowing this information, it has become clear to me that a huge piece of my personal ancestral clearing is to consciously cut this cycle of addiction and make peace and new relation to the sacred tobacco plant. In addition, as I have been stepping into my full power and role as a healer, facilitator of ceremony, performer, and a public figure, I have had to bring every single aspect of my life into alignment...with no room for exceptions, So that I may show up as a clear channel and pristine example as a leader. If I cannot focus my energy and discipline to do something that is hard, but for my highest good, how can I show up as an leader with integrity? The only pure way to lead is to lead by example... Refinement is hard, but the work is worth it, as we show up for ourselves to be better, clearer human beings to the best of our ability. But perhaps the deepest teaching that has inspired this shift in me is the connection to the spirit and story of Grandfather Tobacco. Tobacco is considered the most holy Sacrament among the original North American People. It is the bridge to the spirit world, the carrier of the prayers and intentions of the people to the spirits, to be heard and received. It is the connector of the people to the land, to the plants, and serves as emissary and protector. When this truth is seen, it is of no surprise that this world is laden with such sickness and disease. The majority of people who use tobacco do so in a very unconscious way, when they are worried or stressed out. So literally, all those worries and ill thoughts are blown into the spirit world as prayers, prayers for exactly what we don't want. Then we see it manifest in every inharmonious way in our world... The most sacred sacrament of this land has been industrialized and poisoned and warped in such a deep way, and the consequences are clear... The spirit of Tobacco has made it clear to me: he is a powerful ally, servant, and guide. And he demands RESPECT. He commands balance...clarity....INTENTION. And so, from here on out, I will lead by example. I will offer my tobacco to the earth...I will use this sacrament for prayer and setting intention and purification...In balance, and moderation, and reverence. When I see the issue from this perspective, the path is simple...I have no choice but to come into alignment...and so, the shift is simple. I would like to inspire others who may be out of balance with tobacco that it can be this simple! |
